Way past time for a post

Well it’s been a very, very long time since I posted, so here goes. So much has happened since my last post. I’ve seen couples meet, break up, and move on. I’ve made new friends, and lost some old ones. I’ve spent vast amounts of time in SL at times and at others barely been in-world. Through all of this one thing has remained the same though.

That thing is my feelings for my lovely pet Lex. We are still together, and just passed our one year anniversary. Right now she is nicely bound in the sky dungeon and my latest evil creation is keeping her nice and secure.

Oh that reminds me, I have taken the plunge into scripting and have created a few fun little toys that Lex is helping me to test. The one in the dungeon enforces a host of RLV restrictions, keeping anyone within range of it nice and secure.

I hope to try and blog in a more timely manner from now on, but we will see what happens.

Lex Is Free!

Last night due partly to the actions of a drunken jerk, but mostly due to the fact that I missed her very much, Lex was freed from the iso suit. The details of this can be found in the subbieunion blog. Suffice it to say that I am very happy to have her out and I think I will have to spend lots of time cuddling her.

I also want to thank Vel very very much for being there for Lex not only throughout the entire process, but especially last night as she protected Lex from an unsavory character.

While I am on the subject, there are several others including Vanni, Nikki, Xonox, and I’m sure others who spent time with Lex and who deserve my thanks as well.

Shopping (one of my favorite passtimes)

Last night Lex and I left Deitide behind for a while and did some shopping. I’m not going to say that shopping is my favorite thing to do in SL, but it certainly ranks near the top. It is even more fun when I can go shopping with someone, and it’s the most fun when I can go with Lex. We made quite the pair wandering around in matching black latex, and Lex firmly leashed to me. (The leash is almost completely necessary when she is wearing her iso suit as she can’t see things very clearly and can’t walk very quickly.) We stopped by a couple of shops including one pretty expensive latex shop that will remain nameless. I do love latex, and there was plenty of good stuff to look at but most of it was a bit out of my normal price range.

We did manage to get a nice thank you gift for Vanni for officiating our partnering/collaring ceremony. I won’t spoil the surprise here just in case she reads this.

The night ended with Lex back at Deitide, and me off to bed early.

The iso suit and good friends

Last night a small group of friends showed up at Deitide to support Lex as her iso suit experience continued. I has happy to see them there and glad that Lex could take comfort from their presence. I am very torn about where to go next with this. I so very much want Lex out so we can spend time roaming about and just being together at home, but on the other hand I think we must continue and see how she handles longer exposure to the suit. We are officially heading into day four and she has racked up some impressive SL hours being locked.

I guess I want to clarify my own interest in the iso suit a bit as well. As I mentioned before the iso suit certainly has some appeal to me, and I have made parts of the suit already using the wonderful tutorial Lex and Vel devised. I’m not sure what my intent is with the suit yet. I would like to first see how far we take Lex’s imprisonment in the suit, the thought of us being unable to talk to each other is unbearable. Once we have finished then I will consider how best to proceed. For now I am very content to be there for Lex and monitor her time in the suit.

The iso suit

I just can’t get that thing out of my head.

Every time I see it I wonder what it’s like to be locked in one. I mean I guess from a logical standpoint I know what it’s like. No communication to the outside world short of tiny emotes or to your keyholder. But to be actually locked in at the mercy of your keyholder and unable to communicate the psychological aspects of that are what elude me.

So of course I will start to build one to see what it is like. I have started experimenting with the iso suit tutorial and things are going well so far. I have managed to make the hood and gag and both appear to work properly. (I popped inworld early this morning and accomplished that much.) So now the question, do I continue with the other parts and make the full iso suit? I’m not sure yet, I may just play with what I have for now and see what I think.

Lex is still safely locked away in her iso suit in Deitide, and I will see her later tonight. There is the question of when I will let her go, and I think I will know when the time is right.

Well here I am doing what I swore for so long I wouldn’t do, putting my life (well at least my Second Life) out there on the Internet for all to view. Ok so far this isn’t so bad.

Lex has been after me for a while to do this, so here goes.

Lex and our good friend Vel recently put together an iso suit based on “Eudeamon“, a story written by EvilDolly. If you’ve read the story, then you know the iso suit is meant to emulate the bane suit. You can read the tutorial on how they made the iso suit here.

Once Lex had the suit all assembled and decided to show it to me, well of course I had to put it to a real test. Tonight she will have been locked into the iso suit for 48 hours and counting. I’m not sure how long we will continue this little experiment, but I will continue to tease her that I will unwrap her on Christmas. You can see how Lex is in person doing by visiting her at Deitide in Second Life (please be aware that the isolation suit does not allow her to hear you, or respond in any way but rudimentary emotes) or by reading her blog.
